Inplex Custom Extruders LLC manufactures Polypropylene tubing and pipe near Chicago, Illinois. Extruded Polypropylene is nearly clear (good contact clarity), is lightweight and economical yet has good stiffness, chemical resistance and heat resistance properties.
Made-to-order Polypropylene tubing extrusions are made of two available FDA grade materials, a homopolymer and a copolymer. The homopolymer is cheaper, clearer, stiffer, and even more heat resistant. The copolymer is softer, has better impact strength and can be made into a more perfect extrusion. Extruded polypropylene has good surface hardness and electrical properties. It is odor free and tasteless. It does not absorb moisture and is dimensionally stable. Inplex can manufacture polypropylene tubing in OD dimensions from .050-inch to 4.125-inches.
